Mervad Electrical was established in 1986 and now after twenty six years of trading, goes from strength to strength.

Our experienced staff have been involved with a number of aspects of the industry and with in excess of fifty years of Electrical Engineering and Contracting experience gained over a wide customer base between the managing partners, we are ideally suited to advise you on your requirements.

Mervad are members of the Electrical Contractors Association (ECA), are Part P registered for Domestic works and members of the Governments Trustmark Scheme.

All of our technical staff are qualified electricians and undertake frequent refresher training on a wide range of subjects.

Mervad was formed in 1986 by Mervyn Little and David Parry and quickly formed a name for itself undertaking both domestic and agricultural electrical installations and maintenance. The business grew and both partners were busy sometimes six and seven days a week to cover the workload. This laid the firm foundations on which the business trades today. Unfortunately David was struck down with an illness which took him from us and Mervyn was left to manage the business single handed for around ten years, until 2006 in the company's 20th anniversary year, Stuart (Mervyn's son) joined as a managing partner and has spent his time developing our new systems division and strengthening the agricultural team.

We now stand as one of the leading agricultural electrical contractors in the central Essex area and look forward to continued relationships with our existing customers and building relationships with new ones..
