Agricultural
Our Agricultural capabilities are second to none, from initial concept, through installation and on going maintenance.
We are pleased to work alongside many different Farmers and Growers within our area with crops as diverse as Potatoes, Pork and Poultry.
Our staff are trained to high standards and carry out installations and maintenance in line with Crop assured and animal welfare standards when applicable.
Over the last twenty years we have carried out many different projects for our agricultural
clients including:-
Main power distribution including sub metering for tenants and liaison with utility companies
Standby Generators with Automatic changeover panels
Complete power, lighting, feeding and egg collection systems for intensive egg farming
Feeding & Ventilation systems for pigs, chickens, turkeys and other livestock
Crop handling, drying and cooling systems
Irrigation & waste pumps and associated control systems
General Store Barns and Grain Store lighting and power
Feed milling and mixing plants
Custom designed and constructed control panels
In these times of many farms being converted and let as commercial units, we have been heavily involved with several such projects, from the main supply intake to lighting and power within the units. This approach allows you to be confident that tenants will not overload your existing infrastructure putting the rest of the farm at risk.
Equine
One of our partners has his own horse and as such brings experience of the requirements of Equine premises into the Agricultural division. It is well known that these animals are experts at destroying electrical installations, usually with tragic results, therefore we pride ourselves in being able to provide (almost !) equine proof solutions to lighting and power on your yards.
One of projects involved the floodlighting of a large indoor menage which has been lit to show jumping levels using computer designed placement of some 15 Metal Halide floodlight fittings as well as a number of Emergency Escape lights to provide horse and rider safety in the event of a power failure.
