Our History
Mervad Electrical was established in 1986 and now after thirty four years of trading, goes from strength to strength.
Our experienced staff have been involved with a number of aspects of the industry, gaining huge amounts of experience of Electrical Engineering and Contracting over a wide customer base
We are members of both the Electrical Contractors Association & The NICEIC Domestic Installer Scheme
Mervad formed in 1986 as a partnership by Mervyn Little and David Parry and quickly formed a name for itself undertaking both domestic and agricultural electrical installations and maintenance.
The business grew and both partners were busy sometimes six and seven days a week to cover the workload.
This laid the firm foundations on which the business trades today. Unfortunately David was struck down with an illness which took him from us and Mervyn was left to manage the business single handed for around ten years, until 2006 in the company's 20th anniversary year, Stuart (Mervyn's son) joined as a partner and has spent his time developing our new systems division and strengthening the agricultural team.
2013 saw a new dawn for us as we took the decision to incorporate the partnership to form Mervad Electrical Ltd
We stand as one of the leading agricultural electrical engineers in the central Essex area and look forward to continued relationships with our existing customers and building relationships with new ones
